Musical theater is a unique and rewarding discipline. When a character breaks into song, it is because ordinary forms of expression aren't enough to convey the emotion they're feeling.
Students will explore the fundamentals of great musical theater performances and how acting technique applies to songs. In this course we will explore the text, relaxation, and musicality to create a fully realized character. Students will learn voice techniques and develop contrasting songs. As students work at their own level, many students take multiple sessions to continue building their skills.
